Apps For Events, a service of AppBurst, has released a mobile event application for the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA). The FTA Events mobile app -- developed natively for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, as well as a mobile-web app -- showcases the organization's Info*Flex 2012 event in San Antonio, Texas; scheduled to take place on March 19-20 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. 

Users of the AppBurst-developed FTA Events mobile app can view the complete event agenda with personal calendar integration, as well as an alphabetical and fully searchable listing of speakers and exhibitors. Other highlights include a feature-rich interactive exhibitor map, as individual booths can be bookmarked or selected as "visited" within the app. A city guide to San Antonio, sponsors, and future FTA events are also included. 

Founded in 1958, the Flexographic Technical Association aims to advance the flexographic-printing industry through the use of its annual conferences, enabling attendees to network with colleagues and exhibitors to promote new products in the printing industry. FTA represents nearly 1,300 companies in fields ranging from printers and suppliers to consultants and academia.
