Apps For Events Launches Bookmarking Feature

Apps For Events, a service of AppBurst, has unveiled a new bookmarking feature for its mobile event applications. Users are now able to bookmark content into a “my favorites” section within the app, which is categorized by content type and saved for future access. From creating a custom schedule to highlighting favorite speakers and exhibitors, users can manage event content in a variety of new ways.

For users attending only a handful of sessions at an event, the new bookmarking feature simplifies the scheduling process. Simply bookmark relevant sessions and bypass unwanted agenda items to streamline the event experience. Noteworthy speakers or vendors offering new products and services relevant to a specific user can also bookmarked, saving time and improving organization at the event.

Bookmarking also works with city guides and other third-party features. Favorite restaurants around the event venue, favorite news articles, tweets, and more can be saved with a tap of a button for later viewing—much like the bookmarking feature in today’s most popular web browsers. The feature is currently available on iPad and iPhone devices.
