Apps For Events, a service of AppBurst, has released a mobile event application for the 34th Charing Cross Symposium 2012. The symposium, which takes place at the Imperial College in London from April 14 to 17, aims to showcase vascular and endovascular "controversies" -- as part of a rotating three-year cycle between "controversies, challenges, and consensus" in the vascular field. The mobile app is available natively for iPhone and iPads, and as a mobile-web app.

Users of the event app have access to a variety of event-specific information, including complete program information with calendar integration, as well as an alphabetical and fully searchable listing of faculty and exhibitors. Other highlights include an interactive exhibitor hall floorplan and connectivity through email, Facebook, and Twitter. An updated news feed and sponsor pages are also available within the mobile event app.

The Charing Cross Symposiums are annual events which draw thousands of vascular specialists from all over the world. AppBurst also developed the mobile app for last year's 33rd Charing Cross Symposium 2011.
