Apps For Events, a division of AppBurst, has released a mobile event app for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). The 2012 WBCSD LD Meeting Montreux app was built for the organization's Liaison Delegate Meeting from April 23-27 in Montreux, Switzerland at the Montreux Music and Convention Centre. Based in Geneva, WBCSD aims to bring businesses together with a priority to "create a sustainable future for business, society, and environment."

Users of the mobile app can access a full agenda to the meeting, read bios from speakers or participants, and access a host of documents pertaining to sustainable development. Other features include an updated WBSCD Twitter feed, city guide to Montreux, welcome letter, and feedback survey for the mobile application. Detailed floor plans of the event venue are also available via an integrated PDF reader, enabling attendees to find their way to different areas of the centre during the five-day event.
