Meeting Information

The 2012 LD Meeting is taking place from April 23-27 at the Montreux Music & Convention Center in Montreux, Switzerland. The event, hosted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, will focus on developing government policies to assist businesses in acknowledging and acting upon today’s sustainability challenges. The event draws contributors and attendees from all over the world.

WBCSD LD Meeting Mobile App

Users of the Montreux 2012 mobile application can access a variety of resources about the event, including a full agenda with calendar integration a detailed list of speakers and participants. PDF floor plans of the different levels within the facility are provided, along with a city guide to Montreux. Other highlights include access to documents and presentations used throughout the five-day event, as well as WBCSD’s Twitter feed and page sharing via email, Facebook, and Twitter. Specific sections of the app are also protected behind a meeting passcode to enable the organization to share internal information with attendees.

World Business Council for Sustainable Development

Since 1992, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) has aimed to bring businesses together with a priority to “create a sustainable future for business, society, and environment”. The council, based in Geneva, Switzerland, consists of 200 member companies across a variety of business sectors and continues to evolve, bringing about new ideas and concepts to change the world for the better.
