The 2013 American Planning Association of Florida's annual conference is being held from September 10 to 13 at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The aim of the event is incorporate "innovation and technology into the everyday planning practice across the state, the nation, and even the world."
Users of the mobile event app have access to a full conference agenda sorted by day and track. Other highlights include calendar integration, speaker information, and a section devoted to sponsors and exhibitors. Attendees can also view a city guide, conference center PDF floor plans, and APA social media.
The Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association encourages "planning that will contribute to public well-being by developing communities and environments that meet the needs of people and of society more effectively." In addition to its annual conference, the state-level organization holds educational workshops and AICP exam preparation courses.
