The 102nd Anniversary of ALIC is being celebrated this year at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida from May 17th to 19th. Attendees spend time networking and participating in a variety of breakout sessions related to relevant life insurance topics such as taxes, litigation, securities, and investment. The theme of the 2015 conference is "Globalization and its Impact on the Life Insurance Industry".
Users of the ALIC Annual Meeting App enjoy access to the complete event agenda with calendar integration and surveys to provide feedback on the effectiveness of specific sessions. PDF presentations are also available to attendees, as well as speaker and attendee directories with bios, contact information, and related sessions. Other app highlights include a city guide, notepad, and meeting logistic information. The app is password protected and only available to authorized attendees.
Founded in 1913, the Association of Life Insurance Council (ALIC) serves life insurance companies and individuals such as policy holders and stockholders. The organization's aim is to "furnish scholarship on the legal issues challenging life insurance companies, combined with fellowship for our professional and personal growth.
