AppBurst Provides On-Site Support at ESVS Annual Meeting

AppBurst recently released the ESVS Annual Meetings App for the European Society of Vascular Surgery and is providing on-site support at the event; taking place in Bologna, Italy from September 18 to 20. In its 26th year, the meeting brings together world leaders in vascular surgery for scientific discussions and a wide range of workshops, lectures, and poster presentations.

PDA/FDA ICHQ10 Workshop App Released

Taking place this week in Baltimore, Maryland, the PDA/FDA ICH Q10 Workshop provides a forum for industry leaders to discuss how ICH Q10 can help address challenges in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. The event, organized by the Parenteral Drug Association, is officially entitled "Responsibilities of Executive Management (Operations and Quality) - Implementing the Principles of ICH Q10 2012 PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Quality Systems Workshop".

Apps For Events continues to expand its lineup of feedback and survey features with 5-star rating integration. Mobile event app users will now be able to rate a session by simply tapping on the appropriate star rating. The data is tabulated and made available to our clients, providing a valuable tool in evaluating the popularity of specific sessions at an event.

Access Event Apps via New Portal Pages

Apps For Events has created an easier way for attendees to access their mobile event apps. The new "portal" page detects a user's device and automatically takes him or her to the appropriate download marketplace. In addition to Apple AppStore and Google Play access, the portal also provides a link to the event's respective HTML5 Mobile Web App, as well as to an APK download for Android and Kindle users.

Apps For Events, a service of AppBurst, has released an event app for the Pinnacle 2012 EMS Conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado. SFIMA App Updated for 2012 Summit

Apps For Events, a service of AppBurst, has updated the SFIMA: South Florida Interactive Marketing Association event app for this year's SFIMA Summit, to be held in Davie, FL on May 15. The annual meeting aims to "explore the secrets to good social media and its integration into the marketing mix." New features in the mobile app include a notes area and speaker bios. Apps For Events Launches Notes Feature for iPad Apps

With the release of the SJHS Conference iPad App earlier this month, Apps For Events unveiled a new notes feature for iPad mobile apps.  This useful feature gives event attendees the ability to create, edit, and save notes directly within the mobile app via an easy to access menu button.  An email tool also allows users to send notes directly to their own personal email accounts or to other conference attendees.

Apps For Events Launches Interactive Exhibitor Map for iPhone and iPad Apps

Apps For Events, AppBurst's mobile development platform for the conference and event industry, recently added a interactive exhibitor map feature for iPhone and iPad apps. The interactive map lets users browse around the exhibitor floor of the event they are attending to locate vendors they are interested in and plan out their route. Users can also bookmark the vendors that they find of interest and also mark the ones that they visited. Event planners are able to designate certain vendors as featured which highlights those vendors on the map in a different color from non-featured vendors.

AppBurst Launches iPhone Apps for Events Development Platform

AppBurst, a mobile application development company, today announced the launch of a specialized platform to build iPhone apps for events, conferences, and trade shows.  The first event app developed by AppBurst was approved by Apple today for inclusion in the app store.  The app is the TCT2010 conference app which was built for the cardiovascular research foundation.  The purpose of the app is to display information about the TCT2010 event such as the session schedule, participating exhibitors, key sponsors, local area things to do, and additional information about the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (the organization that founded and hosts this event).
